Arrived Stanthorpe after 40 minute drive .. it’s a cracker of a day ☀️ Went for wander around town .. not much there..as it’s winery heaven, we drove out to Granite Belt brewery for lunch and a tasting plate of beers. That resulted a quiet arvy of napping listening to the rainy showers on the van roof! It even hailed lightly! Went to rsl for a roastie and watched state of origin.
Next day we cruised around.. checked out Swipers gully where you can pan for topaz .. it was a 4wd out thru bush tracks.. Steve couldn’t help himself and had a quick pan .. no luck tho ! Stopped at cheese factory and then Brass Monkeys brewery for lunch where Steve luvd all the beers !
Our last day we did a winery tour to 5 estates..Symphony, Granite Belt, Rumbalara, Masons and qld tourism for yummiest lunch evs. Was a long day of sipping reds n whites, but someone had to do it !!
