In our wool market you can browse through our products that are made from the wool of our own sheep, hand knitted by our very own Vilborg. You can also have a cup of coffee with Vilborg, take a look at shapes and patterns, and have her knit for you a specific wool product you desire. You can browse through the online store to see Vilborg’s products as well as other merchandise connected to Icelandic culture.

HORSEBACK RIDING
Here at Myrkholt, we have a horse rental and facilities for horses, both a paddock and a stable. We provide tours for beginners as well as tours for more experienced riders. We are able to find suitable horses for everyone as we have over 70 horses and guide you on longer or shorter tours, all to your likings. We hope to create memories and for you to make friends with the horses, even if you only want to pet it.
This horse breed was brought by settlers to Iceland and is therefore one of a kind as it has been kept intact since. The Icelandic horse is smart, tough and versatile while being known for its kindness. The Icelandic horse is our passion.
