( Overview
/ Around Oz with Steve and Ros
Finally after a week at Shell Harbour, we have moved all of 20 minutes south to Kiama. Such a top spot. Very hilly, beachy, pretty. We were here a few days ago and Steve saw this great caravan park set right on the beach in a valley.. so decided to nomad here for a week or so as Steve has picked up a few days work in Nowra. Once setup, went for a ole English country drive to Jamboree and lunched in town. On the Wednesday, I caught a train to Sydney to catch up with Trace. Although a 2 hour ride , it pretty much hugged the coastline .. so scenic train ride ✔️ Stayed 2 nights with Trace and also had catchup with Shanabanana! Sydney weather was a bit wet! As was Kiama when I returned! The weekend was spent checking out Shoalhaven and Gerroa.. beachside towns south of Kiama. Our week was spent with Steve finishing a few jobs and I kept myself busy with huffy puffy walks into town (lotsa hills !!) and the beach and pool on the good days ☀️ Our last day we took a drive out to Kangaroo Valley and to some not very easy to see waterfalls due to the rain.
Steve tells Ros to reverse the van in as close to padsite as you can get ... aaah Rossie the caravan whisperer !!
Day trippin with Trace. Drove to Scarborough. Had great lunch at Scarborough Hotel and great views of the Sea Cliff bridge (on a sunny day !)
