Stopped at Lake Eyre South Look out The photos just don't do this place justice it really is amazing. Walked out about 2kms from the car to the dried up salt. When we drove down the road a bit there was another section with a bit of water lucky we didn't try walk out there (like another group was) we probably would have ended up with very muddy legs.

Drove past the statues near Alberrie Creek. Very creative.

Didn't get to Marree until 5:30 so the last 1hr of the trip we started to see a few kangaroos (alive ones).

Stayed the night behind the Marree Pub in a free camp It was full and well run. They just wanted a $2 donation for a hot shower.

This (Marree) marks the end of the Oodnadatta Track. So glad we did this it's really was spectacular.
