Stayed 2 nights in this very tranquil fishing town....sooo tranquil !! All the streets are named after fish! Took pushys for a spin along the seafront and after finally finding a pub that was open .. had a couple at Sleepy Lagoon Hotel... very sleepy ! Next day we drove to check out Rainbow Beach.. Steve was hoping for a surf but not meant to be ! Went to Carlo sand blow .. a massive moonlike sand mass overlooking ocean. A 600 mtr walk thru rainforest took us there. Drove to Inskip Point at the end of peninsula where Stevie dragged out the fishing rod and lunched at surf club with awesome views! Wed night was faffing at home.
