/ Our Trip to Thailand and Laos
Last day in Chiang Mia started with breakfast at the French bakery. Headed to Chiang Rai. Stopped at the hot springs for morning coffee and enjoyed a foot soak in the hot water. Then onto Chiang Chong for the night tried a few sweets from the street food vendor. Similar to Indian sweets.
We had dinner just down the road which took over 1.5 hours. We had a cake for the birthday English couple David and Helen also Kris who’s birthday is on 5 Jan.
Our rooms have direct views of the Mekong River and across to Laos which we’ll be going through custom early tomorrow morning. New country and new currency.
