Today we the southern and south western coast of Grande Terre. The weather was glorious except at La Soufriere Volcano when the cloud was right down! We set off to walk up the volcano but after about 20 minutes decided it was definitely not a good idea for me to continue as it was a pretty difficult climb! David continued to almost the top and he found it pretty tricky!

We enjoyed the scenery and the lovely coastline. Then took "la route de la traversee" across the island and onwards to Pointe a Pitre, and back to St Anne. Second delicious dinner at The Balaou Restaurant which is about half a mile down the road.
