Checking out Mackay for 3 nights. Staying near the harbour in a drive thru. After set up, checked out harbour and surf club which was a nice walk with pubs n restaurants, marina and beach! Next day we drove to the beaches (of course!) ..and Mackay had heaps of them, lunched at Emieo hotel with awesome views and finished up on a Sunday sesh at the harbour bars .. had great arvy 🍺 🍷
Our last day we took a drive out to Eungella Nat Park to see platypusses. Saw one lil one.. not as big as I had imagined!
