New year new destination :) day four but it feels like forever ive been away, still adjusting but getting there! had my first 7/11 toastie today and it was fab! Currently on my way to ayutthaya so this is my first official travel going from a - b. Currently on a local mini van haha looking forward to a chilled evening tonight!
Got to ayhuttaya and had a nap, not a fan currently of the ‘inbetween stuff’ like having a nap or chilling in bed but needs to happen. I went for a drink and some fruit at a little coffee shop which was cute and read some of my book, tried to live in the moment more after speaking to mum and dad. I really miss Mabel! I then had a Thai curry for one pound (portion sizes are so much more reasonable here!)down the night market which was weird, they sold deep fried chicken feet and chicken ass 😂 I had dinner with a lady from Belgium, didn’t catch her name but she was lovely and was a coach so had some good insights about stuff that fills my cup and doesn’t in terms of what I want to do, food for thought..
I also decided I’m going to record the countries of the people I meet.so far im up to Belgium, American, English, German and aus.
Also, there’s like no backpackers here. There’s 6 people in my hostel and 23 in the ayhuttaya chat overall. Very unpopular place by the looks of it, will go to the temples tomorrow and do a boat sunset tour before leaving for the sleeper to chiang mai.
