First day in chiang mai! Had a nice chilled day exploring the town. Had breakfast with molly then had a 90 minute massage for 7 pound. Molly and I nearly burst out laughing as it was on the same room with a load of other people and some man was making weird noises. Ed asked for oil but didn’t get an oil massage but was still good! I then had a manicure for 3 pound to tidy up my nails then got ready and went out for dinner! Had khao soi (I think) which the north is famous for and it was lush. We met Jack who Molly was talking to before the trip, and Alix and
Jess who responded to my message in hostel world about doing stuff. They’re both lovely! And from England. We’re all in pai together so will probs meet up then as well as a few other days. We all did a pub quiz which was good fun then went for a few beers after. I had a litre and a half of water as I felt quite dehydrated and didn’t want to be feeling rough for the elephants tomorrow! All about balance :) had a lovely day overall!!
