Pai day 2, I really like pai!
Today I took myself for breakfast in another cute lunch spot and then read my book around the pool to recharge my social battery. It’s bloody freezing here in the morning so I had my jumper on. Molly arrived and moved into my dorm, literally on the bed opposite me! We went for some food and then I went on a trip to some caves with Christina who’s 19, I met her yesterday. We walked through went on a bamboo raft and see the bats leave :)
When I got back I met up with Molly and she was with some girls who she met in our dorm. There was about 8/9 of them? So quite a lot. Some are staying here and some are staying in the hostel next to us. A lot of them met in Bangkok and have moved on with eachother since. They’re lovely, but that many girls all in a click is a bit intimidating to try and intersect to, especially when they’re all drinking coz they’re young and can hack it! We went to a bar and played some card games then we bumped into Amy who’s is a kiwi that we met in chiang mai. The rest of them carried on to try find a lively bar,but I cba with every night being an ‘out out’ night, especially as we have tipsy tubing tomorrow and I would die if I drank every day. so I stayed and spoke to Amy for a bit and met the people she was with in the day who was lovely. I then went for a walk and found a nice bar which is my vibe at the top of the road, live music chatty and chilled with a pool table :) will try go there another nice as it’s much more up my alley. I then got some food and called it a night.
Got a bit apprehensive that coz I don’t drink every night I might fall behind with people if they’re on a level every night and bonding more coz they’re all drinking and that I could be left out, but then I’ll just find other people. We’re all gonna be floating and get separated anyways and in more chatty once I’ve had a drink!
