Tour day! Joined the Mad Monkey tour to the waterfalls today. Instantly regretted booking with them when the taxi that turned up was full of 18 year old girls who were insufferable 😂 but luckily I had Ellie and Lisa with me. The waterfalls were unreal, they are so beautiful.

Along the way to the waterfalls they have a free the bears rescue sanctuary. The bears were all sleeping apart from this mumma bear who was on watch. There aren’t any gates between us and them so it feels like you are seeing them in the jungle. So cute and in my element here

We had a swim in the waterfalls and the water was freezing but it was nice after a while. Can’t wait to get to the sea now and have a swim!

We then had lunch with the group and met 2 boys from Aus and one from Coventry. We went to the buffalo dairy farm and had buffalo milk ice cream! It tasted the same as normal ice cream tbh. They also had cookies, cakes and cheese on the menu. We saw pigs and bunnies too

Once back from the tour, we got ready and went to my fave spot for sunset. I love it here and it’s so pretty. There was a big group of us which was nice, we had some people from the boat and then some people who Ellie met at the gibbons. We all walked to the night market for food

At the night market we met Jake who lives in Wickford (small world!). We split off into two groups and we went to a karaoke bar which was not karaoke 😂. Stayed there for a drink and then went bowling and did some archery too. Dwayne, Jake, Lisa and I stayed a bit later and had some more drinks :)

Bumped into Hanna from Chiang Mai at the bowling and she did the archery with me. We keep bumping into eachother everywhere in the most random places haha she is also going to Nong Khiaw on Friday! I have extended my stay here by one day and have booked my next stop for Friday morning
