Travel day to koh lipe! Was delayed but made it on the end :( it is sooo beautiful here and so island like! It’s. Mini koh tak. It may be my favourite island yet, so we shall see!
I met up with Anna again which was lushhhh so I have a few days with her and she’s met a few people which is nice! I did my night dive and it wasn’t the best dive. They dropped us on top of coral so we was all scrambling to move away from it so we didn’t crash, then more than half way through the dive I realised my weight belt had twisted the whole was round which is why I was struggling with bouyancy and so that makes it harder to enjoy it and concentrate. and the current was also strong which didn’t help. I got out and realised my weights had also moved on the belt so I had 3 on one side, two on another which was also why it made it hard! See some active eels though and a colourful eel which was different. Some puffer fish, another seahorse. Then when we got out they picked us up ontop of coral again so I got a sea urchin on my foot. I’m not doing very good atm! Went to a walk in centre as I couldn’t get it out but they said nothing was in it but I’m sure it is. Will hopefully dissolve on its own, so that was a waste of a thousand baht. I have tetinus so that’s fine, he did say there’s a risk of gangrene. Lovely. I need to find vinegar to clean it with. and how somehow I’m like 200 into my deficit. Will need to claw it back in Vietnam! ALSO the couple who were English but lived in Sydney also doing the night dive, the girl was from Essex. Got speaking more and she grew up on CRESCENT ROAD. MY ROAD I mean what are the chances ahaha.
Leg is bruising more abs the blood must be running down to my ankle as it’s swollen and also bruised. It looks worse in the hospital light though haha. Oh and my forehead is burnt. I thought I would’ve been past that by now ffs. Then I met Anna for dinner and some others. Some of them were weird but some were cool so we’ll see them again today!!
