/ SE Asia
KL is a very cool city :) maybe not as cool or as much to do as others (less hippy areas and the drinks are so spenny, but it does have art dotted around) but still very cool! The most chilled capital in SE Asia probably, and definitely one of the most western. I like it :) today I had a massive admin day! I went for brunch on my own and did my visa for Vietnam (fingers crossed) booked my Siargao flights (WOOOOOO!) changed my original flights, booked accom and transport, redid my budget and got my career break extended and cancelled marina bay sands. Been productive! I basically don’t go back to work until October because September is getting into the swing of things and also I have time off for a hen and Oktoberfest anyways haah. Save a bit of money rent the house out then DIVEMASTERRRR. Maybe I do it in Europe. And was nice to be in the AC all day. Then I wandered down China town and bought a ring. Now I just need a pinky ring. Also went into a trendy shop which had a massive book store at the top. I did want a book but I don’t need it. Then I met grace and we wandered around China town and some food markets on food hunts. Went back to the hostel and chilled on the rooftop with chad the South African guy and the Romanian girl. Very cool people. They was fed up of the convo the new English guys was having as it wasn’t very intellectual apparently. Not surprised 😅 ALSO Toni was meant to meet me in KL but couldn’t because she’s saving for Europe, so it’s weird I met grace who is also a FIFO in Perth and in on her rest week! What a coincidence! Everything happens for a reason I guess
