Today was awful. Like proper. Ferry got cancelled and they didn’t even bother helping to put me on another ferry. No one was helpful with alternate routes. I would’ve stayed another day but I have a flight booked and there was no ferry tickets until the 22nd. I literally wanted to cry. I ended up wasting so much money on fucking taxis and ferries as well that I didn’t need or was just long. I met a bunch of English (first English I’ve met in a few weeks actually) who also had the same problem. We tried to get a normal boat across which is illegal, but that didn’t pan out anyways. We managed to get on a ferry and they told us it was going to Cebu city but it didn’t it went to the bottom of Cebu which was 5 hours from where we needed to be, so we missed our connecting ferry. We then had to have a cab the whole way which was more money and a nights accommodation in Cebu. Managed to try a ferry tomorrow morning at 7:30am (was optimistic and didn’t wanna miss the tasiers or chocolate hills) but tbh I might just get there go tasiers after pharmacy (because I have another ear infection, proper one this time where my ear is swollen and my jaw hurts, same ear ffs) and then nap. I am over it. It’s so pretty here but takes ages to get from a-b even when it’s smooth running. This was a two hour ferry and it’s turned into an 18 hour journey. I literally wanted to scream
One night accom wasted and another paid for, four ferry tickets wasted, can’t do tour, extra buses and cabs, lost my anklet I got made and I have an ear infection. I need a bloody breakkkk
