Had 12 hours sleep last night (must have needed it). My body must be adjusting to normal life again. Had a coffee on the cute street next to my hostel and read a chapter of my book. Then I headed back to the hostel and got ready for my interview!

The restaurant is in Fitzroy (about 30 mins tram from the centre). Got there and had a mooch around to get a feel for the place and it was really nice and felt like a cool vibe. Interview lasted about 5 mins and they offered me a trial for tomorrow night - excellent news. The view from a rooftop bar

They had a deal on where if you get a drink and a pizza it’s $12 (£6!) such a good deal. I had lamb and olive on top, was lovely! Sammie then came to meet me and we went out for drinks in Fitzroy. Seems to be a lot more going on here than in the CBD! Good sign if this is where I will move to
