Mendoza is the fourth biggest city in Argentina, but due to frequent earthquakes, tall buildings were only permitted with recent techniques
We had tasted Malbec wine and Patagonia and wanted to tasted more. We made a sidestep to Argentina again to the city of Mendoza. It turned out we were also in need of some relaxing time, so we spend so much time by the pool in our hostel that we forget to take a photo of the nice place.
We arrived on Christmas day. We were planning on a fancy dinner, but everything was closed except for a small kiosk. Our Christmasmeal, therefore, consisted of an excellent wine and potato chips. Could be worse...
We set out for a tour through wine country. Of course, we used the transportation means that reminded us the most of home.

And up untill now, this is our favourite wine. We cannot stress enough that Mendoza and Patagonia are spiritually equal :)
One of those travel things: Always, and we mean ALWAYS, food included in trips and travels contains meat in Latin America. It is hard being a vegetarian here.
We spent a few days doing nothing else then swimming, reading and sleeping to get rid of the weariness of travel
Because we were there relaxing all the time, we met some buddies to celebrate new-year together.
