We crossed the Andes again to get to Valparaíso in Chile. This city was once one of the most important ports of South America, but lost this status when the Panama Channel was opened. The city is known for its many hills (with one of UNESCO status) and its street art. We arrived a few days after the grand spectacle that is supposed to be new years, resulting in interesting aroma's and objects on the street :). Most of our stay was spend walking, because it is a nice city to wander through and discover on foot.
