Nea Ionia

Greece
Where we lost Hylas and Herakles...
(Modern Day Cius)
Cius was just as unsuccessful. Ever since Heracles’ disinterest in the women of Lemnos, I had been a bit suspicious of his relations with Hylas. Heracles broke his oar, and so he and Hylas went ashore to find some wood to fix it. But, as Hylas was fetching some water, a mysterious girl lured him away, and we were not to see him again. Heracles was distraught, and to be honest I felt quite bad for him. My suspicions were confirmed, as it seems that there was more to their relationship that met the eye. But, we had a mission to complete, and after spending a fair amount of time waiting we needed to be on our way. It was a hard loss to bear, but we couldn’t stay on Cius forever.
