Our few days in Brisbane have been delightful as always. Staying with Sarah & Chris is such a pleasure & they're great hosts. We had lots of fun together going to Parkrun at Sandgate, to lunch in the city & a visit to my cousin Phil. We spent a full day going by train to the Commonwealth Games athletics & a quick trip by light rail to walk into the famous surf at Surfers Paradise. The water was surprisingly warm & some beautiful reflections of high rise buildings in the backwash. A gorgeous sunny day that will make our next stop even more of a contrast! Vancouver here we come.....
