Landed in Rome on time. After locating the transport driver, we made it to the Airbnb. It is a spacious, old fashioned apartment in a nice shopping district close to Vatican City. After unpacking, we are headed out to explore. We stopped for an authentic Italian lunch and capped the day with some Gelato.
We made it to St. Peter's Basilica this afternoon. Is always an amazing sight when you first walk into the Church. Saw the underground with tombs and columns from the 4th century.
