Argentina Buenos Aires - Palermo - girlstime! 2
girlstime!

Returning from the wild southern nature of Patagonia, we enjoyed urban summer life in Buenos Aires, before heading back to wintry Germany.

After living out of a backpack for two months we treated ourselves to a nice apartment in  Palermo Soho - with a lot of bars, cafés, shops and creative urban life around.

We spent our last evening on the rooftop of Santiago and Julio`s place in Belgrano where the adventure began 3 months earlier.

Buenos Aires - nos vemos!!!

Cementerio La Recoleta

At this beautiful cemetery in the heart of La Recoleta many prestigious families and personalities including Eva Perón, Nobel Prize winners, presidents, the founder of the Argentine Navy and a granddaughter of Napoleon found their last resting place. It's definitely one of the most impressive cemeteries in the world...

Mafalda ... I love this girl and really everbody in Argentina loves her too!
reminding Maike of one of the books that accompanied her on this trip: "Rayuela" by argentinian author Julio Cortázar - unfortunately left behind on a ferry - including all those notes... still one memorable book for sure!
