Bus from Khao Sok to Krabi took about 2 hours. We then enquired at the taxi / bus depot about getting out to the Trang islands. Next thing we know we’re being taken by taxi to Pak Meng Pier, although the driver didn’t have a clue…

Mid afternoon, we’re still being driven around by a driver who can’t speak English and has lost GPS on his Satnav!!! Fortunately J was tracking our journey using Komoot… and was trying to direct him to Pak Meng Pier where we needed to catch a boat out to the Trang Archipelago. Driver took us to the wrong port initially so J then instructed him to turn around but by the time we arrived at the correct port all the shared transport boats had finished for the day! So we then had to negotiate with a private boat to take us out to Koh Ngai (costs Us £35) by private boat.
