longggg travel day today! Jess and I shared a cab to the airport and said our goodbyes :( she flew to Bangkok I flew to pakse which is south in Laos. I then got a bus and a ferry to don det, aka 4000 islands. I’ll need to have my rucksack on my back going back as the wheels was a no today. Not looking forward to that as I’ve not had it on my back yet.
It’s a little weird here but cute! The lady at reception looked confused I had a booking. A dog came up to me when I was chilling by the pool and when I ordered food at the hotel it was like I interrupted something 😂 they’re not very accommodating. But the views are stunning! Laid round the pool and rang mum as felt a bit homesick what with being shattered and being ill and needing time to get the social battery back up. Then I had an everything shower and a right good pamper and sorting out all my stuff! Which will make me feel better as a tidy room is a tidy mind and my room is currently a bag 😂 they’re 3 day chill and social recharge is definitely going to be needed! As I’m still drained from the ecoli. On the plus side, I had a pizza and had minimal cramps and haven’t shut myself! So looks like I’m on the mend after SIX DAYS
