First full day in don det! It’s so weird here but I like it. It’s like a little island from 50 years ago and it’s so quiet and chilled. The bugs at night though, I’m dreading going out at night 😂 there’s actually stuff to do here but I cba. Maybe the last day if I have energy but today is a rest day! And maybe pop out later!
Spoke to soon about being better. 3 hours after breakfast my stomach swells up to a balloon the cramps are back and I’m gonna be sick. First thing I’m doing in Bangkok is heading to the hospital. I want to cry 😭
Had some bread at dinner and that went ok, then I met up with Sharon and Tony from the slow boat to catch up and in bed by 9. Won’t be wandering tomorrow,maybe the next day. Still feel a bit flat and drained, need to find some energy to go out of a night coz I just cba 😂 and I don’t wanna come home and regret staying in so much but then this is a chilled place. But I have been busy/active places so far so maybe when I’m in the islands and have more chilled days I’ll be up for going out more. Or the cities because you’re already out and stay out. Fomo basically haah. I like it here though it’s like what I imagine pai is like 50 years ago! So chill.
