Day 1 of Ha Giang Loop - what a day! I can already tell this is going to be one of the best experiences ever. We got up at 7.30am and showered and had some breakfast. Had a briefing and then was introduced to our easy riders
Group 4! Our group is lovely, it’s me & Alyssa and another Irish girl called Sarah & then 9 other boys. Mostly from England and Scotland
Mink is my easy rider & he is so lovely - puts my helmet on for me and constantly looking out for those in our group who are driving themselves. He is only 20 and originally from Ha Giang so said he will make sure to show me all the local things

Lunch time! Buffet lunch for all and a few beers
Did a 1.2km hike up a hill to get to the cave. It was so cool in here. Massive and spooky too
Checked into the homestay and it was so cute here. Showers and then buffet dinner with our group and others from the hostel
Buffet dinner clearly wasn’t enough so a late night noodle soup too
Happy water whilst having dinner with our easy riders. Karaoke at night too - can’t wait for day 2!
