Day 2 of the loop! Got up for some brekkie and then checked out around 9am ready to get on the bikes and get going. First stop was a coffee point with a view. A weird place with lots of child labour and begging. We were told not to give them any money bcos it would encourage them further
An example of some of the kids walking around with babies on their back. There was also a man with a horse which he continuously brushed and it seemed to impress lots of the Vietnamese. I haven’t seen any horses out here so far so it seemed very out of place
Cute pics were taken here. This is Ethan and Jake from our group. Ethan is 18 from Oxford and Jake is 29 from Liverpool
Our drivers in Group 4❤️. The majority of our group are driving themselves so we only have 5 easy riders and our leader, Kai but they’re so cool and so much fun
In the early 1900s this was the palace of a king in a tiny village in Ha Giang. You can now visit it and go inside
Skywalk! We walked all the way along this, around 3k. Again lots of begging along the way. Children on their own carrying babies and asking for money for food. It’s really sad to see it but you can tell it is rehearsed and they do it every day as if it were a job
The boys and the riders played a view games of pool and then there was a disco on. Had a little dance but our curfew is at 11pm everywhere we stay so some boys from a different group hosted a dorm party
