Back in Delhi to celebrate holi! So we got a very colorful day in every case.
First we went to the Lotus Temple, a few steps away by tuktuk. The temple is located in a very beautiful park und the whole atmosphere around is very quiet and peaceful. The temple itself is absolutely worth to see. Built during the 1980s it has a very filigree concrete construction patterned with marble allover. The religious group of Bahai believes in uniting all religions. No matter if islam, hindi, christian or whatever.
Back in the hostel we celebrate holi on the rooftop with our hostel guys. Loud music, many bags of holi color and crazy people all around. At this time we didn’t know, that holi is celebrated very due in the rest of the city… so, our holi experience ended faster than we thought it would.
After a long shower under colored water we went out for dinner at the monsoon restaurant.
