For us the Amber Fort is the highlight if you´re visiting Jaipur! It´s located on the top of a hill near a small lake, around 10 km away from Jaipur. We went there on a sunday so a lot of indian families were there for a day trip, wearing their sunday clothes, even more colorful than during the week. In the late afternoon there was this special golden light surrounding the fort and we enjoyed it a lot. From the top of the fort we had an amazing view. Inside we explored the labyrinth of narrow floors, huge rooms, platforms, piazzas and steep stairs.
