Although high tide, it was neaps; shallow and narrow to leave the Yacht Basin at Walton, so we were the only boat to go out.
Having successfully picked up our first mooring buoy of the season, Kevin sat in the dinghy and scraped the weed from the waterline on the hull, and yet more cleaning!
We then continued further into the Backwaters to find a quiet spot to anchor.
Breakfast time!
A beautiful day to birdwatch, spy a few boats going around Horsey Island or into Oakley Creek and a very pleasant swim off the boat.
