Our poor sprayhood is finally succumbing to years of Scottish and Irish winters, and beginning to fall apart; the stitching on one side has rotted completely so the ‘window’ started to fall out.
Typically I had taken the sail repair sewing kit off the boat, but steel wire, used as a thread, has done the job of ‘sewing’ the window back in. A neck and back aching job!
Pontoon fees have gone up a lot in recent years…
And then a real bonus; Mark, Eli and Ryu popped by after Ryu had been at nursery nearby.
…but at least this one is near a good pub where we had a late lunch after our endeavours.
So great to catch up over Mark’s home baked bread, and Eli’s homegrown lettuce (with other food).
