Vietnam! Travelling to Ho Chi Min today via plane. Got to the airport and it was shut so waited about an hour before I could check in. Had to buy a fake flight to get through to prove onward travel. Sat down on the flight and within about 5 mins we took off - pretty quick, lack of safety checks 😭

After queuing for nearly 2 hours in passport control, finally touch down in Nam and omg I love it here! So much to do! Can defo see myself extending my stay. I checked in and went out for a walk in the 35 degree heat

First meal had to be Vietnamese. I had a beef pho and an egg coffee. Egg coffee is so yum!

FaceTimed mum and then went shopping. Found this shop - a bit of me. Bought 3 new t shirts, 2 oasis and 1 red hot chilli peppers, so cool - I will be back! Carried on walking round and found more thrift shops. Bought some new jogger shorts too

Went out for some food and found this little Thai place and had their spin on Thai green curry, it was actually banging. I was the only person in the restaurant but the food and service was 10/10. Went back to my hostel, had a shower and got chatting to 2 boys in my hostel (also from Essex lol)

Asked them if they wanted to come out and they said yes, we then met Stan from Holland in the lift and he came too. We went to the walking street, so fun! Played shuffle board and pool. Decided to do the tunnels tomorrow with them :). Booked a heel scrub for tomorrow too, can’t wait!
