Siem reap is one of those places I’ve found where I could live! So pretty and built up and busy enough.
Going to some temples today. Prices have risen out here massively. Paid 60 dollars for a driver for the day and we only paid 20 last time!I am going further but still. Going to a temple out of town which is proper entwined in the jungle. Then going to one on a lake that Katie recommended and will do Angkor wat and the sunset temple if I have time.
Also I noticed I’ve got a bit more satisfaction or buzz after having my tooth done? I think it’s because I’ve done whatever I wanted for the last half a year so I haven’t had that ‘job satisfaction’ feeling of doing something you don’t want to do but then feeling good after and relieved. Sort of like the feeling after excessive. So cozy didn’t wanna have root canal but I did it and now I’m not in pain and I know it’s done I just have this energy where I’m buzzing and relieved! Which is nice :) probs also to do with the pain as well easing haah. If only I liked running I could’ve done that out here but I don’t and finding a pool you can actually swim in has been hard and also is a bit more of an activity than just leaving the hostel and running. Well it’s either that or the codine is doing fucking wonders ahahah
Had a nap then got some food and went on a pub crawl. Going on a pub crawl sober and when you don’t have anyone to go with and have to meet people on the pub crawl is not the best. Also it’s all young English again who have just finished uni and all middle class and irritating as fuck. ‘What uni did you go to’ ’mummy and daddy have got me a flat in London’ I just can’t sit and listen to these dickheads. Two of them went boarding school together. One wa nice but the other was just irritating. Should’ve stayed at onederz as I know 3 people there I’ve realised and it’s a bit older and their pub crawl looked better 😂 met one 29 year old she was nice! I dipped out though and went home I couldn’t be bothered. I’m also not that social when I’m not drinking I’ve deffo realised.
I also popped to a little market. Very small but cute!
